Jeff’s path in public service began in 1997 when he first took office as a Trustee, a role he held for 20 years. Today, as Mayor, Jeff leans on his years of experience to lead Morton through growth and expansion while preserving the town’s small-town charm and values. “Democracy succeeds when we all try to do what is right for the Village,” he says.

Under Jeff’s leadership, Morton has seen significant infrastructure investments, from the state-of-the-art Water Treatment Plant to a nearly $3.9 million natural gas rebate for residents. These improvements not only attract new businesses and families but also support existing residents by lowering costs. Jeff’s goal is clear: to sustain growth by focusing on both infrastructure and safety, ensuring Morton remains a welcoming place for all.
